FEE
My fee for individual sessions is $125. I accept cash, check or money orders, payable at the time of each visit.
MEDICARE
I am a Medicare provider.
INSURANCE
Most people, whether or not they have insurance, choose to pay out-of-pocket for many well founded reasons. Once you make an insurance claim there is a permanent paper chain of many aspects of your treatment. This may jeopardize your future ability to obtain life insurance, health insurance, or disability insurance. This risk occurs when I assign to your claim, a mental health diagnostic code which insurance companies require in order to prove that your treatment is "medically necessary" (couples therapy included).
More importantly, your right to confidentiality is seriously compromised by the amount and the nature of the information required by most insurance companies.
However, if you choose to take the above mentioned risks, I will provided you with a monthly statement for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, to you, for sessions you have already paid for.
